CAREEL
Careel is a 10 metre high
speed Cougar Catamaran, as used by Police Rescue and Coastguard Departments. She
was custom built locally in 1996, is extremely stable and boasts a top speed of
37 Knots.
With a fishing platform
larger than most vessels we can cater for groups up to 12 in undercover comfort.
Careel is powered by twin
250hp Suzuki 4 -Stroke engines fitted in October 2005, we can go faster so you
can fish the deep outer reefs and remember when you go faster you can fish
longer!
She has all the creature
comforts including private toilet, shower and seating for all. Fully certified
and safety equipped.
We provide you with more
fishing time than any other Gold Coast Fishing Charter Company. This is due to
our fast boats, departure location and extended charter times.
COUGAR TOO
Cougar Too is the most recent addition to our
business. She is a sister ship to Careel and we purchased her in July 2008.
She was originally built as a
Police vessel in 1997 she has all the stability and safety as Careel, since then
she has been refitted to suit charter fishing.
Our intention in purchasing Cougar Too was to
cater for the increased bookings that we could not provide for with 'Careel'
alone. She has been operating for
over a year now and
has been receiving rave reviews from our regular and new clientele.
Cougar Too is also powered by twin
4 stroke Suzuki's, which means no smoke and fumes while you experience our
magnificent fishing destinations on the Gold Coast.
