reservation system is new, we
welcome any feedback and please feel free to contact us if you have any
questions. The
deposits through the booking system are for credit card payments only, with the
balance payable on the day by cash or credit card. If you are making a booking
for a date that falls with 7 days from the date you are making a booking, full
payment is required. Please feel free to check out
our available dates for future bookings.

You cannot purchase Gift Vouchers or make bookings for our midweek
private boat booking specials, children's bookings or gift vouchers. You will need to contact us direct for these.

Deposits:
To secure a booking we require a minimum deposit of 50%.
Payable by credit card over the
phone, cheque
or money order through the mail , direct debit (funds transfer) or cash.
Credit card payments only by Visa or Mastercard. Cheque and money order payments must be made payable to Fish The Deep. Our business address is

Balance:
Balance to be paid before the charter commences on the day of the charter.
Balance can be paid at this time by cash or credit card only (Visa
or Mastercard). If you are
wishing to pay the balance by any other means - you will need to do so 7 days
prior to the booking date.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS |
|
Cancellation fee applies if charter is cancelled or transferred by customer
within 7 days of booking date. Full payment must be made if booking is
cancelled or transferred within 24 hours of vessel departure on the booking
date.
Gift Vouchers are forfeited if booking is cancelled
or transferred
within 7 days of booking date.
If passengers do not turn
up on the day full payment must be made.
Customer must contact us to confirm both booking, boating
and weather conditions
-Between
6.00pm and 6.30pm the night prior to the charter for a half day morning
or full day charter
-Between
9.00-9.30am on the morning of the charter for a
half day afternoon charter.
If customers do not contact us,
then we assume they no longer wish to keep their booking, and will book other passengers in their
place.
If charter is cancelled by Fish The Deep due to unsafe boating conditions
or strong wind warnings, charter is either transferred to another day or your deposit can be refunded.

If you a holidaying on the Gold Coast it is recommended you make a booking early in the time period you are here, so
you have opportunity to eat your catch during your visit and your booking may be transferred to another day if the original booking date has unsafe boating conditions.
Please be at the pontoon 10 minutes prior to the boat departure time.

Gift Voucher Details:
Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months allowing customers to
choose which season and/or species they would like to target.
The gift voucher receiver can book at their convenience or an advance booking can be made
for them.
Gift
Vouchers can be purchased over the phone by credit card, direct debit, cheque or
money order and sent out by post. Alternatively you can purchase vouchers in
person and pay by cash or credit card. The vouchers are sent on the same day of
purchase if you call before 3.30pm.
Over the Christmas period normal mail can take more than 3 days. This
year we recommend purchasing vouchers before 11am on Monday the 21st for Regular
Post and before 11am on Wednesday the 23rd for Express Post.
You will
receive a large orange envelope in the post which includes your invoice along
and smaller white envelope(s)
which include a gift voucher, brochure, business card and a detailed information sheet.
All our postage envelopes are secretive and do not have our business details on them,
including express post envelopes. It's $5.00 extra for Express Postage and
Express post deliveries arrive with your normal mail.
If you purchase a half day gift voucher and the
receiver decides they would prefer to book for a full day charter,
instead of a half day, they can pay the difference for the charter on
the day. Likewise you can pay the difference to change a full day
voucher into two half day trips etc.
Also if they decided to charter a private boat booking
we would take the cost of the gift voucher(s) off the total amount of the
booking.
Purchase Details:
Gift Vouchers can be purchased by credit card over the phone, cash, cheque, money order of funds transfer. Gift vouchers are non-refundable
for either the total amount or partial amount.
Phone Purchases.
Call us on 0755289578 or 0416224412. If you don't get through
please leave a message and we will return your call asap. Please leave your name
and repeat your contact phone number. We will require your full name, contact
phone number, postal address to send the voucher and credit card number and exp.
date. If you would prefer to pay by direct debit we will give you those details
when you call. We do not require the details of the receiver.
In Person Purchases.
You will need to contact us to make arrangements for voucher
pick up. We run our business from home in Runaway Bay however we are not always
here so its best to arrange a date and time.
Email Purchases:
We are currently in the process of having a new site built
which will enable a shopping cart to purchase vouchers unfortunately this will
not be operational for another month.
Please include you name, phone number and postal address in an
email to us at
bookings@fishthedeep.com. Please do not include your credit card details
as our emails are not secure. We will contact you to arrange payment.

Gift Vouchers are not recommended as presents for
passengers who will only be on the Gold Coast for a short period of
time. Unsafe boating conditions requires us to cancel some of our
fishing trips and gift vouchers are non-refundable. Invitations are
recommended in this situation - see below.

Invitations:
A personal invitation is a great way to let your loved ones know you wish to send them on a fishing charter - without purchasing a non-refundable gift voucher.
The receiver can then take up the opportunity to go fishing or decline to use
the invitation. Particularly great for interstate customers.
Invitations are free and can only be emailed.
